SECTION 01
Know which Easypaisa route is available
A payment method and a gateway integration are different things. AssanPay lists Easypaisa among its supported payment options; Eekaam connects to AssanPay. The separate connector for a direct Easypaisa merchant account is not yet implemented. If you already have a direct Easypaisa account, ask which credentials and route you can use before changing your checkout copy.
Cash on delivery and manual bank transfer remain separate checkout choices. Offering several methods can help shoppers choose, but only show a method after your own merchant account has been approved and the payment flow works in your store.
Eekaam → AssanPay → an Easypaisa option offered to your approved merchant account.
A direct Easypaisa merchant-account connection is still in development.
Ask AssanPay which methods, fees, refunds and settlement terms apply to your account.
SECTION 02
Prepare your merchant account and store
Apply for an AssanPay merchant account and complete its current verification requirements. Keep your business details, support contact, return policy and bank details consistent with what the provider asks for. The provider controls approval and may change requirements; Eekaam cannot approve a merchant account on its behalf.
In your Eekaam payment settings, connect the AssanPay credentials issued for your merchant account and enable the payment option you intend to use. Keep live credentials private. Check your checkout currency, order total and any delivery charge before taking a real payment.
SECTION 03
Test the full order, not only the button
Use the provider's test process if available, then place a small live order according to its rules. Confirm that the shopper sees the correct amount, completes the payment and returns to an order confirmation. In the merchant dashboard, check the provider transaction reference against the Eekaam order and confirm the payment status changes as expected.
Also test a cancelled or failed attempt. The order should not be treated as paid simply because the customer reached a payment screen. Record the provider's refund process and expected settlement schedule for your staff before you promote the method.
Payment option, final PKR total, confirmation and failure message.
Order number, transaction reference, paid status and settlement report.
Who handles a failed charge, refund or delayed settlement.
SECTION 04
Describe the option accurately to customers
Say that Easypaisa is available at checkout only after you have verified it in your live flow. Avoid promising instant settlement or a fee-free transaction unless your own AssanPay agreement says so. Eekaam's platform transaction fee is separate from any charges imposed by a payment provider.
Recheck the option after changing credentials, store domain or checkout settings. If a payment method temporarily disappears, remove the badge from promotional copy until the flow is working again.
